Probably my last journal on this subject (Unless I for some reason think up more fan-fics that I'll never draw.) this time covering my fan-fiction concepts for the ruined forever franchise that is Transformers.

Possibly the most insanely ambitious concept for fan-fiction, I somehow actually wanted to attempt to completely re-imagine/rewrite the entire Transformers mythos to the point that I honestly didn't know where to begin, even here.
I definitely wanted to get away from the space magic element, and try for a much more sci-fi feel. Even when it came to the concept of Primus and Unicron's origins. Toning down the whole space god element and making them alien beings of cosmic energy.
The origin of the Transformers would be a mixed one that I never was quite sure how to handle. Not a completely original idea; I wanted to have it be the Quintesson who discover the planet form of Primus, an enriched sphere of minerals they begin cyberforming into what will be dubbed Cybertron, as well as experimenting with the strange energy at it's core, building the super computer vector sigma to harvest the energy and infusing it with their own technology, unknowingly creating actual living mechanical life forms. The Transformers themselves physically would be similar to what it felt like they were trying to go for in the first (2007)movie, before it all went to complete shit. Mechanical beings that can move, manipulate and reshape practically every part of their structure, at least within reason, factoring in parts count and mass. Something often very much ignored in Transformers a lot of the time, even the movies eventually developed the usual "fuck it" mentality to mass shifting.

So much I had planed to happen, involving the true origin of Alpha Trion, the Fallen, the Matrix, and so on, I could not even begin to go through it all, and will spare you the details.

Basically, rebellion against the Quintessons, truth of origins realized, rebellion won. Things are good, until Megatron wants to rule, then things are bad, and war happens, Orion Pax becomes Optimus, it all leads to a showdown between him and Megatron, which leads to a space bridge accident that flings the transformers all across the universe.

One thing I wanted to do here with the battle between Optimus and Megatron was the origin of Prime's popular quote actually originating with Megatron. During the fight Optimus pleads with Megatron asking him to stop this senseless conflict that's destroying their home world, to which Megatron replies:

"This is war, Optimus. In the end only one shall stand, *readies weapon* and one shall fall!" *attacks*

The idea here being that when Optimus would later drop this line, he's actually acknowledging something Megatron said to him.

At this point, after the space bridge accident, Transformers start waking up, finding themselves scattered all over the place. Even the ones who find themselves on earth are not together, so the first half of this story would be various characters trying to find one another on earth as they take on vehicle-modes to hide.
Two of the main characters that'd be focused on here would be Wheeljack and, yes, Bumblebee. The choice comes from the fact these are the first two Autobots that are seen on screen in the original show, and I always thought it'd be neat to build up the buddy dynamic between the two.
Eventually when most of the characters meet up, the main Autobot group would be led by Elita-one, (Alt-mode: 1960 style Cadillac.) Optimus Prime still missing.
The Decepticons at this time would be in the same situation, with Onslaught leading a small group until they meet up with Starscream who immediately places himself in command, boasting how he was one of Megatron's chosen elites. Him and Onslaught would end up butting heads a lot over leader status.

So much more was planed to go on from this point, so many ideas...Whether or not any of them are actually good, I'm not sure...But the very idea that I actually thought I had it in me to develop all of this nonsense into a full on running fan comic is insane. I'm fatigue just from writing out this journal.
